ColdStar Logistics Strengthens Supply Chain Support for Lenexis Foodworks’ 500 Outlet Expansion Plan

ColdStar Logistics is expanding its supply chain infrastructure to support the fast-growing ambitions of its long-term partner, Lenexis Foodworks, as the QSR operator moves toward its goal of crossing 500 outlets across India in the next three years.
This development highlights the increasing importance of strong backend logistics in helping quick service restaurant brands scale efficiently across multiple cities and markets.
Currently, ColdStar Logistics manages end-to-end multi-temperature supply chain operations for 262 outlets operated by Lenexis Foodworks. This includes popular brands such as Chinese Wok, Big Bowl, and The Momo Co. Its responsibilities cover primary transportation, warehousing for frozen, chilled, and ambient products, along with last-mile delivery to stores.
The company is now preparing to significantly increase its capacity in line with Lenexis Foodworks’ expansion plans. At present, ColdStar handles more than 360 SKUs and processes nearly 2,400 SKU line orders every day across its network, maintaining an impressive 99.85 percent delivery accuracy while ensuring uninterrupted daily supply.
The partnership between ColdStar Logistics and Lenexis Foodworks has continued for over a decade and has grown alongside the brand’s expansion journey. During this time, ColdStar has transformed its operational model from a hybrid fresh-and-warehouse system into a more efficient pre-packed frozen, chilled, and dry distribution model, helping stores improve speed, consistency, and inventory management.
Sameer Varma, Executive Director of ColdStar Logistics, shared that the company has continuously adapted its services based on changing business demands. He explained that maintaining consistency, freshness, speed, zero stock-outs, and product availability has remained the company’s biggest strength. As Lenexis prepares for major expansion, ColdStar is ready to double its logistics capacity to support more than 500 stores.
From an operational perspective, ColdStar serves metro cities as well as Tier I, Tier II, and Tier III markets through structured replenishment cycles ranging from bi-weekly to fortnightly deliveries. The company also uses AI and machine learning-based planning, route optimization, real-time temperature tracking, and predictive alerts to improve efficiency and reduce supply chain disruptions.
Aayush Madhusudan Agrawal, Director of Lenexis Foodworks, stated that supply chain management is one of the most critical factors for scaling any QSR business. He emphasized that consistency, reliability, and speed across different markets are essential as the company moves toward its 500+ store target, and ColdStar’s support has played a major role in maintaining seamless operations and product quality.
With new investments planned across key cities and growing consumption hubs, ColdStar Logistics is positioning itself as a strong growth partner for Lenexis Foodworks. This move also reflects a broader industry trend where advanced supply chain systems are becoming the backbone of large-scale QSR expansion across India.
